Full Mouth Dental Implants Cost in 2026: All-on-4, All-on-6, and More

All-on-4 costs $20,000 to $40,000 per arch. Both arches: $40,000 to $80,000. Here is every cost you need to know.

All-on-4 (per arch)

$20,000 - $40,000

4 implants + full prosthesis

All-on-6 (per arch)

$25,000 - $50,000

6 implants for greater stability

All-on-4 vs All-on-6: Which Do You Need?

All-on-4 is the standard for most patients. All-on-6 provides additional security if your bone density is lower, particularly in the upper jaw. Your surgeon will recommend based on your CT scan results.

Acrylic vs Zirconia Prosthesis

The material of your final prosthesis (the teeth attached to the implants) is a major cost driver. The difference can be $4,000-$15,000 per arch.

Acrylic Hybrid Bridge

$18,000 - $25,000 per arch

  • Acrylic teeth on a metal framework
  • Lighter weight, easier to adjust
  • Can chip or stain over time
  • Typical lifespan: 10-15 years
  • The standard option at most practices

Zirconia Bridge

$25,000 - $40,000 per arch

  • Monolithic zirconia, extremely durable
  • More natural appearance, does not stain
  • Heavier, harder to repair if damaged
  • Typical lifespan: 20+ years
  • The premium option, growing in popularity

Full Cost Breakdown: What You Pay For

Diagnostics (CT scan, consultations)

3D imaging, treatment planning, possibly multiple consultations

$800 - $2,500

Extractions (remaining teeth)

Full arch extraction if teeth remain. Sometimes included in surgery fee.

$1,000 - $3,000

Surgery + implant posts (4 or 6)

The surgical placement of titanium posts into the jawbone

$8,000 - $16,000

Temporary teeth (immediate load)

Provisional prosthesis worn during the healing period (3-6 months)

$1,500 - $3,000

Final prosthesis (acrylic or zirconia)

The permanent set of teeth. Acrylic is lower end, zirconia is higher.

$8,000 - $20,000

Sedation (IV or general)

Most full mouth procedures use IV sedation. Not always included in quotes.

$500 - $2,000

Same-Day Teeth: What It Actually Means

"Teeth in a day" means you receive a temporary prosthesis on the day of surgery, so you never leave without teeth. However, it does not mean the process is complete in one day.

What happens on surgery day

Remaining teeth extracted. 4-6 implant posts placed. A pre-made temporary prosthesis is attached immediately. You leave with a full set of teeth that look natural and allow you to eat soft food.

What happens over the next 3-6 months

The implant posts fuse with your jawbone (osseointegration). You wear the temporary prosthesis during this time. After healing, impressions are taken and your final, permanent prosthesis is fitted.

Not everyone is a candidate for immediate loading. Sufficient bone density and implant stability at placement are required. Your surgeon will assess this during the procedure.

Individual Implants vs All-on-4 for Full Arch

Individual Implants (12-14)All-on-4
Cost per arch$36,000 - $84,000$20,000 - $40,000

Practical for full arch? Not recommendedThe standard approach

For full arch replacement, All-on-4 is the clear winner on cost, treatment time, and practicality. Individual implants are only appropriate when you are replacing a few specific teeth.
